Are you trying to figure out your wedding day hairstyle?
Don't worry, remember 2 is better than 1. You can have 2 different looks, one for the ceremony and another for the reception.
For my brides that want a slight change, I'll usually pin their hair stratically.
Then when it's time to transition from the ceremony to the reception, it's simplified.
It's usually difficult to have 2 drastic hairstyles, unless your hairstylist is going to stay for your touch ups.
If this is not going to happen its best to get a look that is easy to transition into so that you don't look crazy for the reception.
I recommend that if a bride wants to wear her hair down or to the side that she does so for the ceremony and wear it up for the reception. Especially if dancing is going to be involved.
You want to focus on having a good time, not worrying about why your hair is sticking to your sweaty back.
Transitioning into a second look can be done yourself as long as your up-do doesn't involve a lot of hairspray nor lots of pins.
There are some styles that can't be versatile, that's why it's important to to do a trial appointment with your hairstylist prior to your wedding day.
You can play around with some different styles, that way you can get a feel for what looks are transitional and which ones aren't.
You can also practice on how to get from point A to B on that day. You need to run-through with your hairstylist.
