I love color because it's so much fun to play around with it as a stylist. You can mix colors together and in turn create a custom color for your client. Unfortunately not every stylist is gifted with the ability to do color, so it's great when you find someone that can achieve the color that your seeking. If you want a subtle change, highlights or lowlights are a great way to ease your way into color. For those people that are more comfortable with change, a base change and highlights are a great way to go. If you are unsure of how your hair will react to color a strand test can be done. A strand test will give the stylist an idea of how a clients hair will turn out before doing the whole head. Spring is on the way, so this is a great time to start thinking about color.
