Today I volunteered at the Misler adult day care and I had so much fun. It was such an honor to give back, all in the name of Nettie Tatum. Nettie Tatum is the reason why I take so much pride in working with senior citizens. Nettie is my great-grandmother, She was an extraordinary women that was God-fearing, strong, giving, and elegant. I spent a lot of time with her as a child which aided in me becoming the woman I am today. I'm so grateful that have the opportunity to give back, it's such a liberating experience. I have been truly blessed to have the gift that I have and I want to show my appreciation. I encourage every one to take time out of your schedule and volunteer at least one time in your life, I guarantee it's the most gratifying feeling.
